About:
The Oracle of Lofi conjures soundscapes steeped in myth, mourning, and the raw pulse of the American underworld. Fusing the grit of outlaw country, the edge of post-punk, and the shadow of Southern Gothic folklore, the band channels something both ancient and immediate. Their performances are immersive rites—equal parts communion, chaos, and catharsis.
Formed in the indie undercurrents, The Oracle of Lofi is a rotating collective of musicians and storytellers bound by a shared devotion to honest, genre-defiant expression. From stripped-down acoustic spells to full-blown sonic ritual, the band’s sets are as unpredictable as they are unforgettable.
Their current lineup includes 29 Graves (The Lou Reeds, Wooden Man Records), Judi Lee, Tyler Watkins (Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s), Jesse Lee (Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s, Pravada), Ryan Roberts (The Common), and more.
Current Work:
The Oracle of Lofi is on tour across Spain in celebration of their self-titled debut album. Together, the current lineup recorded the album at Indianapolis’s Postal Recording Studio, shaping a haunted, unclassifiable sound that pulses with emotional voltage. Each appearance is its own fever dream—born in the moment, never to be repeated. Beyond their own work, members of The Oracle remain active in a constellation of other bands, sessions, and collaborations that ripple through the underground.
