About

Melodic Propaganda Relations (Melodic PR) is a team of artists helping artists, and we’re here for creatives of all kinds. Whether you’re a musician, poet, or even a visual artist launching a new exhibit, we’ve got your back with promo, booking, website building, social media management, and more. Basically, we handle the behind-the-scenes work so you can focus on creating.

We’re not some big agency—just a couple of people who’ve been in the industry long enough to know what works. With 15+ years of experience in music photography, promo, and social media, plus 20+ years of touring and business know-how, we know how tough it can be to get your name out there. That’s why we’re here—to help you grow without the stress.

Let’s make something happen. Hit us up!

Our Team

Deric Shannon

Deric Shannon was not born but forged in the fires of dimly lit DIY venues and the sacred halls of academia. A touring artist for over 25 years and a multi-published author, his mutant ability to craft devastating riffs and articulate existential dread in both book and song has left a permanent mark on the underground. Not only is he a skilled multi-instrumentalist, but he also has more business savvy than Patrick Bateman buying business cards. And his videotapes? ALWAYS returned on time. Some say Deric once gave a PowerPoint presentation so powerful it melted a projector screen. Others claim he’s the only musician to successfully negotiate with a venue’s sound guy and win. The truth? We may never know, but what we do know—with his 25+ years of music industry experience, he can predict your booking and touring needs better than Dr. Xavier himself.

Melodie Yvonne

Melodie Yvonne has LOTS of experience in the music industry dating back to her first concert (Elvis) while still in the womb. Whether you need help with photography, promo, booking, or even writing lyrics, Melodie is ready & waiting to serve your needs just as well if not better than Julia Roberts at the Beverly Wilshire. She’s the backstage pass to the trailer park that you didn’t know you needed—rock ‘n’ roll oracle and chaos conductor in the front, all business in the back. She’s been thrown out of better places than you’ve played, but don’t worry—she always talks her way back in. In fact, some say she has more sway than Jean Grey. Rumor has it she once talked a venue into booking a band they’d never heard of using nothing but a glare and a well-timed drag off a cigarette. Others swear she once wrangled an entire production crew and a full band with nothing but a grin and a shot of tequila. No matter what, though, one thing’s certain: when Melodie’s in your corner, you’re getting in the door, on the stage, and in front of a crowd—whether you’re supposed to be there or not… so bring bail money just in case.
